The highest point of your caravan isn’t always the roof!
Roof-mounted accessories can add valuable centimetres to your overall height, including:
✅ Air conditioners
✅ Solar panels
✅ TV antennas
✅ Satellite dishes
✅ Roof vents
✅ Roof racks and other accessories
When measuring your caravan, always measure to the highest point, not just the roof.
📏 My tip: Once you’ve measured it, write the total height on a small sticker and place it somewhere visible inside your tow vehicle. That way, anyone driving knows the exact height before approaching:
• Low bridges
• Service station canopies
• Car parks
• Entry gates
• Tree branches
A few minutes with a tape measure today could save you thousands of dollars in repairs tomorrow.
