We’ve probably all done it — pulled into a servo and then thought…

“How the hell am I getting out of here?” 😂

When you’re towing a caravan, horse float, boat or large trailer, don’t just look for an available fuel bowser. Take a few seconds before you pull in and look at the whole layout.

Ask yourself:

✅ Is there enough room around the bowsers?

✅ Can I make the turn without clipping a kerb or bollard?

✅ Is my caravan going to cut the corner?

✅ Are parked cars going to block my exit?

✅ Is there enough clearance under the canopy?

✅ Can I drive straight through, or am I going to have to reverse out?

Sometimes the closest bowser isn’t the best bowser.

A few extra seconds of planning can save you a lot of stress — and potentially an expensive mistake.
